Well, that is it hopefully. I am hopeful that the whole pack with full load of water will weigh no more that 30 pounds or so. If it gets much heavier than that Wes or Clay may find some of my gear in their bag.

ReplyDeleteI have bought this gear over a long period of time. What I have been doing lately is getting lighter and lighter gear. At my age I do not want to be a pack mule anymore. One of the advantages of being in your 60's is seeing the evolution of gear from my first Kelty external frame pack to the new ultralight gear available. I am trying to swing the Olympus waterproof and shockproof digital by the time I leave. Otherwise I will be carrying a Canon SD600. I am not going to take my big Canon SLR this trip.
